BIOGRAM

  • She graduated the soloist class of the vocal and acting department at the Academy of Music in Katowice, earning her MA in 1999.
  • Her musical career began already during her university years, she sang in the „Sound of Music” in St. Florian, Austria; in Germany with the chamber orchestra „Europäische Sinfonietta”; in Poland with Eva Jaślar when she was a harpist at the Prague Opera. She participated in many musical workshops and courses in Poland, Germany, Austria, Greece. She worked with Helmut Rilling, Klesie Kelly, Teresa Żylis-Gary and Nelly Miricioiu. She won third place at the XVI International Competition Pietro Argento in Italy. Her performances were recorded for the Polish Radio and TVP. She performed with the chamber orchestra „Europäische Sinfonietta” (Germany), the Orchestra of Zabrze Philharmonic, the Świętokrzyskie Philharmonic, the Kaliska Philharmonic, Piotrkowska Chamber Orchestra, the Cieszyn Salon Orchestra, the chamber orchestra „Polish Camera” (all from Poland) and the Royal Male Choir „Orpheus” (Holand). She sang, inter alia, in the first post-war performance of The St. John’s Passion by J.S. Bach in Łódź; in the Scholem Asch Festival in Kutno; in the International Festival „Viva il Canto” in Cieszyn; in the Four Cultures Festival in Łódź. She performed solo and as a chamber singer both at home and abroad, traveling to Germany, Holand, Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Russia and Italy. Her wide repertoire includes many oratorios and cantatas, but also songs and opera pieces.
